Privacy Policy

Effective 9 September 2026 · applies to the Lineburst iPhone app

Lineburst is a block puzzle game for iPhone made by Asgar Amrahov. This policy explains what data the app handles, in plain language.

No accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking across apps or websites. Your game data — scores, run history, your saved game, your settings — stays on your device. Two Google services are involved: AdMob, which serves one optional, non-personalized ad type, and Firebase, which receives anonymous, aggregate measurements of how the game is played and reports crashes.

Data stored on your device only

The app saves the following locally, and only locally:

This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is deleted when you delete the app. We have no servers and receive nothing.

Usage and crash data (Google Firebase)

To decide what to improve, the app sends anonymous measurements of how it is played. This is aggregate and deliberately coarse:

What is never sent: your exact score, your run history, your saved game, your settings, the daily puzzle you played, or any text. No advertising identifier is collected, no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown, and no account or identifier of our own is ever attached to this data. It cannot be used to identify you or your device to us.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom none of this is collected unless you give consent in the dialog the app shows before ads are served. If you decline, no usage or crash data is collected either — the same choice covers both.

Elsewhere this measurement is on, and the app does not offer a separate in-app switch for it. Because it is anonymous, aggregate and never linked to you or to an identifier we create, there is no personal data for us to look up, export or delete on request — we hold no profile of you. Deleting the app stops all of it.

How Google processes data on our behalf as a processor is described at policies.google.com/privacy and firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Lineburst shows exactly one kind of ad: an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch — to continue a run after game over, or to undo a move. There are no banner ads and no forced ads. If you purchase Premium, the app never requests an ad at all.

Ads are served by Google AdMob configured for non-personalized ads only. The app does not use App Tracking Transparency and does not track you across apps or websites. To serve and secure ads, Google may process technical data such as your IP address (which implies a coarse location), a device identifier, ad interaction data, and diagnostic information. This data is not linked to your identity by the app and is not used by the app to track you.

How Google uses this data is described at:

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, a consent dialog may appear before ads are served, as required by law.

Purchases

The optional Premium purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored from Settings → Restore Purchases.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, your scores and achievement progress are submitted to the Lineburst leaderboards through Apple's service under Apple's privacy terms. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted anywhere.

Children

Lineburst is a general-audience app. It contains no chat, no user-generated content, and no personalized advertising.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
